CI of University of Missouri Invited to Open Chinese Lessons in Local Primary School

SHNU: A signing ceremony was held recently by the Confucius Institute (CI) of the University of Missouri (MU) and the City Garden Primary School in Columbia，Missouri. According to the agreement, CI was invited to give Chinese lessons to students in City Garden Primary School.

Vice President of MU Dr. William expressed his sincere congratulations, hoping the children would understand, appreciate and like the colorful Chinese culture. Dr. Ouyang, Dean of CI, hoped that the Chinese language could open more chances for students to understand Chinese characters, culture and people.

 Principle of City Garden Primary School Nicole said that Chinese culture was very popular here, she and the children and their parents did welcome the Chinese courses offered by the Confucius Institute.
