SHNU: On May 30th, the First Meeting on Exchange Program of Sino-British Math Teachers was held on Xuhui Campus of SHNU. It was attended by SHNU President Zhang Minxuan, Vice Directors of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission Li Ruiyang and Wang Ping, and representatives from SHNU College of Education and SHNU College of Math and Mechanical Engineering. The SHNU team members of the program introduced the exchange program and indicated that the period of Chinese math teachers’ stay in Britain would be shortened from 10 weeks to 2 weeks and the total number of exchange teachers would be increased from 30 to 60 and that the time for British teachers to stay in Shanghai would be at the end of this October. The goal and the qualifications of the math teachers to be exchanged were decided, and specific procedure to the program was set into rules. It is decided that before the end of June the teachers would be selected for the pre-departure training in July. Meanwhile, communications with the British schools would be made and list of work group would be decided. |
