Agreement on Student Exchanges Signed withTaiwan Golden Gate University

SHNU: on June 13th, a delegation of 3 from Taiwan’s National Golden Gate University headed by President Li Jinzhen visited SHNU and signed a Letter of Agreement on College Students Exchanges between GGU and SHNU and a Letter of Intent on Academic Exchanges and Cooperation between GGU and SHNU. SHNU President Assistant Mao Xuncheng warmly received the visitors.
 
Mao Xuncheng briefly introduced situations of SHNU. He said that cooperation between GGU and SHNU enjoyed a great advantage in geographic position in the first place. If the two universities could draw on each other’s merits and complement each other’s advantages in their respective professional interactions, it would benefit the students as well as the development of both universities. Li Jinzhen introduced the favorable academic atmosphere and characteristic specialties in Golden Gate University. He specially mentioned that the exchange students of SHNU could not only study in GGU, but also in 14 Taiwan colleges having signed relevant agreements with GGU.
 
Golden Gate University, founded in 1997, is the first and only national college in Kinmen county of Taiwan. GGU has 23 academic departments in  5 colleges including humanity and art, social sciences, management, science and engineering and health care. It has distinctive features in teaching and research in such fields as Taiwanese culture, the Qiao country culture, war culture, relations across the Taiwan Straits, and natural ecology.
