SHNU: On June 30th, academician Qu Jiuhui, Director of the Academic Degrees Committee of Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to visit SHNU and made an academic report entitled "Procedure of water treatment on soft interface”. This is one of the serial lectures celebrating the 60th founding anniversary of SHNU.
Qu interpreted the interface procedure of water treatment from three aspects, saying an outstanding environmentalist should have the quality of using theory to guide practical project.
After the report, SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang met Academician Qu Jiuhui and thanked him for his valuable suggestions to the disciplinary development of the university. After the report, Qu specially paid a visit to the water environment protection and research center of SHNU, where he highly praised the progress of environment disciplines of SHNU in recent years.
Having won a number of awards at the international and state levels, academician Qu Jiuhui is one of the initiators and advocators for China’s sewage treatment factory concept and mainly engaged in water quality and technology studies.
