Work Conference of 2014 Shanghai Pre-college for International Students Held in SHNU

SHNU: On June 30th, the Work Conference of Shanghai Pre-college for International Students was held in SHNU. It was attended by representatives from Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of China Ministry of Education, Municipal Shanghai Government, Shanghai Police Administration, the China Scholarship Council, Shanghai Education Research Association for Overseas Students, and Shanghai Normal University.

Mao Xuncheng, assistant of SHNU President, briefed on the work report, rules and regulations, work plans and college development of the pre-college which would be founded in SHNU. The leading groups discussed about the feasibility of the report and brought forward effective suggestions for refinements. It has been stressed that systematization management should be implemented for the students’ enrollment procedures and long-term strategic perspective should be always be put into priority. Also, a general objective should be set up, and a English website for the pre-college should also be founded for reference.

A detailed group discussion was also held to probe the specific procedures for the successful launch of the pre-college.
