SHNU: Recently, the newly released SHNU homepage (http://www.shnu.edu.cn/Default.aspx?alias=www.shnu.edu.cn/shnunew) has received high evaluation from readers. The new homepage, jointly designed and made by Department of Public Communications, Information Office, Fine Arts College and supported by teachers and students of different colleges, is a handsome gift to the upcoming 60th anniversary of SHNU. The new homepage pays more attention to presentation and functionality. Apart from the original columns like news and announcement, there has been added advance notice about academic lectures much concerned by both teachers and students. Meanwhile, it repackages relevant information on the old homepage for users to set different entries to the homepage so that they can find the corresponding information as soon as possible. SHNU officially started the revising work of the homepage in last November. In the process of revision, coordination meetings were held to collect suggestions for several times by Department of Public Communications to listen to pertinent opinions and advice from relevant units. The new homepage has been widely acclaimed as excellent by both teachers and students for a week trial and is planned to come into use in September. |
