SHNU: Sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, the Shanghai Summer Training Class was held as one of the programs of Sino-British Math Teacher Exchanges on August 23rd. The training involved 54 teachers and researchers from 32 primary school in Shanghai. At the opening ceremony, professor Zhang Minxuan from SHNU International and Comparative Education Research and Head of the Sino-British Math Teacher Exchanges Program introduced the program and hoped that all the trainees could take this opportunity of practising education in British schools to promote their teaching skills by exchanges with their counterparts in the UK. The training would start end until September 7th. It includes such parts as expert seminars, workshops, group course preparations and English language training. The program also invited famous education experts from China and the UK to help the trainees strengthen their understandings of Chinese math education and math education skill in various cultures. |
