Academic Leader in University of Essex Lectures in SHNU

SHNU: Pro. Hu Huosheng, an internationally known expert on intelligent robots in the University of Essex, U.K., give a lecture entitled “From Biological Systems to Intelligent Robots: Opportunities and Challenges” at the invitation of SHNU.

Teachers and graduate students from the College of Information, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering listened to the lecture.

Combining with his scientific research, Pro. Hu introduced the history and development of robot research, summarized theories and controlling strategies of bionic robots, and predicted the future direction of robot research. With the help of multi-media, he showed the related videos to teachers and students present, which greatly broadened their horizon and research mentality. 

     After the lecture, Pro. Hu and teachers of the college swapped ideas and had an in-depth discussion on the research and development of intelligent robots.
