SHNU: In the morning of October 1st, some SHNU students voluntarily came to Binjiang Avenue, Pudong, to participate in the flag-raising ceremony of Shanghai youngsters and sang for the birthday of Motherland. “Everyone present is proud of himself as a Chinese who is able to celebrate the birthday of our motherland with their songs in such a special day.” “As a student who has just finished military training , it’s a great pleasure to see the raising of our national flag in Binjiang Avenue on such a special day, which strengthens my will to devote myself to the prosperity of our country.” “I wouldn’t have expected that so many citizens and visitors would join in our chorus of My Country and I.” Students expressed their feelings in this activity with passion and emotion. Students of SHNU also tour famous places with the national flags, carrying forward patriotism everywhere they go and giving their simple but sincere blessings to the nation’s 65th anniversary. |
