SHNU: On October 14th, a high-level academic forum on Educational Innovation and Urban Development started at SHNU as one of the series activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of SHNU. The forum received the participants of academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, member of National Standing Committee of People’s Congress of China, officials from China’s Ministry of Education, Director of Beijing History Association, curator of Capital Museum, and professors from Beijing Normal University and Fudan University. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei delivered a commencement speech and illustrated on the symbiotic and interactive relations between the university and the city, and between the city and the world. The forum took the form of dialogues, and four scholars incorporated their life experiences into the conceptions of innovative education, talent cultivation and urban development. |
