SHNU: October 18th witnessed the Theme Conference of 60th Anniversary of SHNU to be held on west Xuhui Campus. It involved the participation of consulate officials and guests from over 180 institutions of Japan, Turkey, Luxemburg, Finland, US, the UK, Portland, Germany, Russia, Iran, Bulgaria and Mongolia, etc. A short clip reviewed the development process of SHNU during the last 60 years. The live broadcast was also available for teachers and students on Fengxian Campus at the lecture hall. SHNU President Ziqiang Zhu extended his wishes for teachers and students to focus on the aim of talent cultivation, motivate on academic pursuits, and stick to cultural inheritance and innovation. Also, 6 alumni representatives (writer and academician, school presidents, and company CEOs) expressed their sincere wishes for the future of SHNU. It is noted that many alumni returned to SHNU for the theme conference. There are also those who sent their words through such social network as wechat and microblog, etc. |
