SHNU: On the 2nd FLTRP National English Writing Contest (Shanghai competition zone) that was held in Fudan University on October 25th, all the 3 SHNU students achieved good results -- Meng Weiyi from College of Finance won the first prize, Zhou Huirong from Foreign Languages College and Wang Chongyu from College of Life and Environmental Science won the second prize.
The 3 students were among the 14 SHNU students who were awarded in the preliminary contest. As guide teachers, Zhang Wei and Xu Ye of SHNU Foreign Languages College helped Meng, Zhou and Wang a lot in their preparation for the quarter-final contest.
FLTRP Cup English Writing Contest is jointly sponsored by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, Foreign Language Teaching Advisory Board and ELT Advisory Board under the Ministry of Education. And this contest is a public event for undergraduates in China.
