SHNU: On November 4th, three Canadian artists of EN Masse (a Montreal based, multi-artist collaborative drawing project first created in 2009) visited SHNU at the College of Fine Arts. They were expected to inspire an element of creativity and imagination among the arts students. The artists introduced themselves to the audiences before a lecture about the basic brush and spray painting and sketches skills followed. The three artists from EN Masse, which in French means as a whole or all together, commented on the students’ doodles and suggested that the students should communicate better with other parts of the graffiti on the same wall and with the outside world. Later, the three artists Jason Botkin, Jeremy Shantz and Sebestein led the students to start graffiti on the stature wall of the College, and spent more than two hours there. They made the final finish for the painting just before the dusk fell. |
