SHNU: Sponsored by Shanghai Media Group (SMG), the Changfeng Cup Final of New Shanghai Singers Contest ended on November 7th. An SHNU Botswana student from ICCS (International College of Chinese Studies) won the Talent Prize for her unique voices, beautiful dances and sense of rhythm. SHNU was awarded Excellent Organization Prize. 10 overseas students were recommended by ICCS, including those from Botswana, Russia, Sweden, Israel, Indonesia and Cambodia, etc. They sang a series of classic Chinese songs at the contest. Also, they were trained of Shanghai dialect and other singing skills. Started in 2006, the Changfeng Cup Singing Contest is an influential brand-name of Shanghai cultural activity. |
