Large-scale Campus Job Fair Held for SHNU Graduates

   
SHNU: A large campus job fair for SHNU graduate students was held on November 26. It was co-organized by SHNU Department of Graduate Student Affairs, Shanghai MOHRSS (Ministry of Human Resources& Social Security) and Shanghai Talent Exchange Center. SHNU authorities Ge Weihua and Cong Yuhao came to the job fair and chatted with part of the employers and job-seekers.

Over 400 employers including Shanghai High School, Shanghai Experimental School, Shanghai Jincai High School, Jiangsu Second Normal University, Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co.Ltd were invited to SHNU, offering nearly 10,000 posts in such fields as education, finance, construction and mass media. The Department of Graduate Student Affairs also sent job information to students via SMS, micro blog, Wechat, etc.

The job fair was simultaneously held in Zone A(Ball games Hall) and Zone B(the West Campus Avenue). Zone A mainly covered demonstrative high schools, universities and enterprises, while Zone B brought together primary schools, middle schools and nursery schools.

Besides, a follow-up service will be offered to graduates who fail to find suitable jobs in the job fair. They can submit their resumes to local talent exchange center, and the center will recommend them to proper employers. This job fair has attracted not only thousands of SHNU graduates, of whom many have reached contracts of employment with the employers, but also SHNU undergraduates and graduates from other universities.

SHNU Department of Graduate Student Affairs will launch more activities to create more job opportunities in the near future.
