SHNU: The 6th Campus Charity Sale was held simultaneously on Xuhui and Fengxian Campuses on Dec. 3rd, collecting￥ 48739.8 (US $7,921) for SHNU students of financial difficulties who suffer from serious diseases or accidentally hurt. SHNU authorities Qin Liping, Ge Weihua and Ke Qinfei came to the site and donated their share of love.
All the articles on sale, a variety of things including articles of daily use, school supplies, souvenirs, etc., are donated by SHNU staff and students. On the special area for charity shows, students expressed their kindness through singing, dancing, painting, pad pasting, on-the-spot demonstration of calligraphy, etc. All these highlighted the sale and attracted more people to donate or buy things.
The money collected, including donation of teaching staff, totals 48739.8, including ￥32480.4 from Xuhui Campus and ￥16259.4 from Fengxian Campus and will be transferred to the account of “Xue Si Grants” to help SHNU students in need. The unsold articles will be categorized and donated to SHNU Charity Station or Shanghai Charity Foundation.
Since its establishment 4 years ago, the “Xue Si Grants” has altogether collected ￥20,000 and funded over 30 SHNU students, further promoting the charity culture and creating an atmosphere of mutual help on campus.
