SHNU: On December 9th, Dr. Chen Pintang, tenured professor of the University of Toronto, Canada, visited SHNU and delivered a theme report on Vocational Psychology through lenses of Positive Compromise and was employed as guest professor of Shanghai Research Institute of Students’ Career Development. Professor Gao Yaoming, Dean of Management Department of SHNU College of Education and Director of Shanghai Research Institute of Students’ Career Development conferred the certificates to Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen brought forward the theory of positive compromise before he probed the theoretical structuring of positive compromise, basic principles and features of the term, as well as instructions on the career development of psychological consulters and title selection of graduation papers. Dr. Chen acts as lecture Canada Research Chair (directly appointed by the Federal Government of Canada) and is the editor of Career Development Quarterly. He is selected into the list Who’s who of Canada and Education Celebrity (Higher Education). |
