SHNU International Student Wins Special Award in Chinese Element Creative Design Contest

SHNU: Good news came that Li Xuanjiong, a Korean student studying in SHNU International College of Chinese Study (ICCS), was awarded the Special Award in the 2nd Shanghai International Student Chinese Element Creative Design Contest that was sponsored by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.

Li’s work, named I am here, but where are you? , was one of the two special prizes in the contest themed “China in My Eyes”. Altogether 305 entries of 24 universities or colleges were submitted to the organizing committee.

With the aim of blending Chinese culture into the world and letting the world know China, Shanghai International Student Chinese Element Creative Design Contest is held to encourage those international students who are studying in Shanghai to discover and display the impressive highlights of Chinese elements so as to deepen their understanding of Chinese traditional culture and modern civilization.

Li began to study in ICCS this March. She has strong interests in Chinese culture and she owns the honor to his hard work and the courage to show herself in the contest.
