On the afternoon of September 26th, SHNU held the first campus recruitment fair for the autumn of 2025 graduates - a special recruitment fair for enterprises - at the outdoor sports ground. The SHNU Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of the university, Zhu Huijun, was present to guide the work and had cordial conversations with employers and graduates.
As the first comprehensive job fair for the autumn recruitment of the class of 2025 graduates, it attracted 103 enterprises and institutions, bringing a total of 356 job demands and 3,979 employment demands. It attracted more than 1,800 students to participate, with over 4,000 interviewees.
In addition, seven consultation booths were set up on site at the job fair, including employment consultation, conscription consultation, postgraduate entrance examination consultation, study abroad consultation, civil service examination consultation, Xuhui Leye Vocational Guidance Studio, and Xuhui Kangjian Street Community Affairs Reception Service Center. Senior experts were invited to answer questions and provide professional education guidance and consulting services such as conscription, enrollment, policy consultation, and resume guidance for students. The aim is to help students seize the key period of autumn recruitment, sort out job search goals and career directions, and improve employment accuracy.
The holding of the autumn enterprise specific job fair for the graduating class of 2025 reflects our school's effective attempt to benchmark different student groups, promote more matching supply and demand docking between graduates and employers, and carry out campus recruitment with precise stratification and classification; On the other hand, it reflects our school's active response to the deployment and arrangement of the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Implementing the Employment Priority Strategy to Promote High Quality and Full Employment, implementing the employment priority strategy, and promoting preliminary exploration of high-quality and full employment.
Since September, our school has held one comprehensive job fair, one specialized job fair, and 20 on-campus special presentations. The SHNU is actively involved in expanding the employment capacity of private economy, small and medium-sized enterprises, etc., and organizing diversified job fairs suitable for different majors and educational levels, developing more employment chances conducive to leveraging students’ strengths, as well as building a multi-level and wide-ranging employment market.
