On September 28th, Hongkou High School affiliated to Shanghai Normal University held an Unveiling Ceremony. Among those who attended the Ceremony, are Li Qian, Secretary of the Hongkou District Party Committee; Yuan Wen, President of Shanghai Normal University; Ye Linlin, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission; Jiang Aifeng, Deputy Secretary of the Hongkou District Party Committee; Yang Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Normal University; Sun Chengwei, Academician of the CAE (Chinese Academy of Engineering) Member, and representatives of teachers, students, parents, and alumni. Chen Xiaojie, the vice district head of Hongkou District, presided over the event.
Yuan Wen expressed her gratitude to the Hongkou District Committee and Government for their care and support towards Hongkou High School Affiliated to Shanghai Normal University. She mentioned that the newly-built school is vibrant and thriving, with a beautiful new campus environment and a complete range of hardware and software facilities. Shanghai Normal University will guide and support the affiliated Hongkou Middle School in curriculum construction, teacher training, and experience exchange, and make more efforts and explorations around the cultivation of basic science talents, making the affiliated Hongkou Middle School a benchmark school with high standards, distinctive features, and recognized by the society, satisfied by the people, and beneficial to students.
