On November 17th and 18th, the International Symposium on Outstanding Global Cities and Regional Innovation was held at SHNU Conference Center and attended Japan Ritsumeikan University, Nara Prefectural University, East China Normal University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tongji University, and Jiangnan University, etc.
The SHNU representative hoped that more in-depth exchanges and discussions would center on policies and suggestions to establish Shanghai as a global city and scientific innovation center. Speeches were delivered from various experts, concerning sustainable development of regional space and ecological environment.
The symposium is started by SHNU Research Institute of Sino-Japanese Humanities and Geography (founded in 2011), which would regularly sponsor academic forums and disciplines construction programs.
