On the afternoon of October 30th, the 2024 Autumn SHNU Campus Job Fair, hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and organized by the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources Public Service Center, Shanghai Student Affairs Center, Shanghai Federation of Trade Unions Employee Service Center, and Shanghai Normal University, was held at the outdoor basketball court on Xuhui campus. This job fair attracted 166 employers to participate, bringing a total of over 2,200 job vacancies. More than 600 students actively participated on site, and more than 1,500 resumes were submitted.
A total of 176 booths were set up at the job fair, including 166 employers and 8 consultation booths. The participating employers were engaged in such domains as energy technology, biomedicine, information technology, financial services, and education and culture. This job fair actively explores employment markets in other provinces and cities, effectively collaborates with the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Education Bureau of Sanming City, Fujian Province, and sets up a special education zone in Sanming.
At the same time, 8 consultation booths were set up on site at the job fair, including employment opportunities, conscriptions, study abroad, postgraduate entrance examinations, civil service examination, etc. Senior experts were invited to provide students with classified Q&A sessions, promoting graduates to understand the policies of employment directions and guiding them to accurately match the needs of the job market.
