Grace Chilekwa, Director of Department of Teacher Education and Professional Service of Ministry of Education of Zambia, led a team to start a 10-day research and study at SHNU with the sponsor of the World Bank on April 19th. The opening ceremony of the Research Class was also attended by professors from SHNU Department of International Affairs and Teacher Education Center of SHNU.
Exchanges were done between SHNU and Zambian team with regard to introductions of basic education systems: education courses, teaching assessment policies and teacher education.
In the following week, the Zambian team would take part in visits and lecures from Shanghai local primary and middle schools.
