On April 9th, the 16th Charity Sale of Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) in 2025, jointly organized by the University Student Affairs Department, Armed Forces Department, and SHNU Trade Union, was held simultaneously at the Xuhui and Fengxian campuses. Yang Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee, was at the event site in Xuhui campus and announced the commencement of this “Warm-hearted Spring Action”. All functional departments and secondary colleges worked together to set up creative public-welfare booths, transmitting love and warmth through heart-warming interactions and showing the great love spirit of the university. At last, a total of RMB 51,264.74 yuan was raised in this activity, and all the funds will be fully injected into the Learning and Thinking Scholarship account of the Education Development Foundation of SHNU, to assist students who are suffering from serious diseases or encountering unexpected difficulties.
The charity sale, as a public welfare brand activity of our school, has attracted enthusiastic participation from all teachers and students. At the event, students from the two campuses presented diverse cultural and artistic performances such as Guzheng (a traditional musical instrument like Chinese zither) performance, campus choir, and ethnic dance, creating a strong artistic atmosphere for the charity sale.
