The Teaching Guidance Committee of Shanghai Municipal Physics Experiment Teaching Demonstration Center Established at SHNU

On April 13th, the founding of the Teaching Guidance Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Physics Experiment Teaching Demonstration Center (affiliated to Shanghai Normal University or SHNU) and the High Quality Development Seminar were held on Xuhui Campus. The SHNU Vice President Li Ye, Dean of the SHNU School of Mathematics and Physics Liu Feng, experts from the National Physics Experiment Demonstration Center, Physics Experiment Demonstration Center from different universities in Shanghai, and other representatives of the Center attended the meeting together.

In his speech, Li Ye welcomed the experts and colleagues on behalf of SHNU and emphasized the importance of physics experiment teaching in cultivating high-quality talents. He announced the establishment of the Teaching Guidance Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Physics Experiment Teaching Demonstration Center and issued appointment letters to seven members of the Teaching Guidance Committee. In the future, under the guidance of the Committee, the Demonstration Center is expected to further improve the experimental teaching system, innovate teaching models, enhance students' practical abilities and scientific literacy, and cultivate more excellent professionals in physics and related fields for the country and society. Meanwhile, it will also promote experience sharing and technical exchanges in physics experimental teaching among universities, and jointly promote the development of higher education in China.

The successful holding of this seminar not only strengthened the communication and cooperation between experts and scholars inside and outside the university, but also provided valuable practical experience for exploring new models and methods of physics experimental teaching in the context of the new era. The Center will continue to uphold an open and cooperative attitude, work together with all sectors to promote the development of physics practical teaching, and achieve more educational goals in the future.
