On the afternoon of April 16th, the Preschool Education Policy Research Center of Shanghai Institute of Preschool Education was unveiled and established at Shanghai Normal University (SHNU). Yang Zhenfeng, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Yuan Wen, President of SHNU, Zhang Minxuan, former SHNU President and Director of the UNESCO Teacher Education Center, Li Ye, SHNU Vice President, as well as representatives from some district education bureaus, kindergartens, and experts and scholars in the field of education policy research, attended the founding ceremony.
The first research topic on preschool education policies was released at the conference, covering domains such as improving the quality of kindergarten childcare and education work, and promoting the integrated development of preschool and early childhood education.
