Recently, the 7th National University Contest on Intelligent Robotic Innovations were held in Zhejiang Province. The Robotics Engineering majors of the SHNU College of Information, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering actively prepared for the competition. Under the careful guidance of multiple teachers, a team consisting of four SHNU undergraduate students stood out in the preliminary round and ultimately won the second prize in the national finals.
The China Intelligent Robot Creative Competition for Universities is jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Higher Education and the Teaching Guidance Committee for Engineering Graphics Courses of the Ministry of Education. It is hosted by the Robotics Research Institute of Zhejiang University and the People's Government of Yuyao City. This competition has attracted over 10,880 teams and nearly 47,000 students from domestic universities such as Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology to participate in the preliminary rounds, with more than 4,000 teachers and students entering the finals.
