The culture of overseas students is an important part of SHNU campus culture. On occasion of 60th anniversary of SHNU, the essay contest of “SHNU & Me” for SHNU overseas students will be run by SHNU Department of Public Communication and SHNU Department of International Exchange. 1. Theme is “SHNU & Me” and topics can be decided by the author. 2. All SHNU overseas students can write an essay for the contest. 3. The essay should be positive and succinct with true details and examples. 4. The essay can be either in Chinese or English, and the length is not more than 1 thousand words. The essay should be written from the author’s own experiences and should not be officially published before. 5. Only 1 author for 1 essay is allowed. The works should be typed in form of Microsoft Word, with the file name equal to the title of the essay. The font size for the content of the essay is small 4 (12 pound). 6. Please fill in the form of personal information and send it alongside the essay. Two judge teams will be selected and prizes awarded. The prized works will be published at SHNU campus newspaper (Shanghai Shidabao) and English website of SHNU. The essay should be sent to lxszhengwen@126.com and note SHNU & Me.
