SHNU：On invitation of SHNU College of Fine Arts, three Dutch artists visited SHNU and spoke at SHNU Xuesihu Overseas Masters’ Forum with the theme of Travelling against the Tides graphic design. It was attended by teachers and students from SHNU College of Fine Arts, as well as designers and students from other universities.
The speakers displayed their understanding of designs through their own learning experience and work life that the process of designing is far more important than the results. In the speeches, lots of handmade calligraphy works were shown along with interesting yet charming characters of artists.
All their works could be summed up as Design originates from life. The designers are encouraged to catch the innovative inspiration by means of sophisticated insights. The speakers also interacted with the audiences.
