SHNU Student Awarded 1st Prize at National College Film Festival

SHNU: On May 23^rd, the awarding ceremony of 1^st New West China National College Film Festival was held at Northwest University in China’s western Xi’an Province. The works from SHNU Xiejin Film and TV Arts College, Tourist on Stilts, won the first prize for animation group and RMB 20, 000 Yuan (USD 2,941). It was completed by five animation senior students from SHNU.

Cosponsored by Western Film Group, Shanxi Film Artist Society, Xi’an Education TV and Northwest University, the festival has attracted over 1, 100 works nationwide, even from South Korea and Canada, since it was started in January, 2017.

The prized works was commented as creating a future work in heated temperatures with abundant imagination, brief depiction, and clear story plot.
