SHNU: On invitation of SHNU Xiejin Film and TV Arts College, Dan Mackler, President of New York Film Academy Los Angeles, visited and spoke at SHNU Xuesilu International Scholars' Forum with the theme American Film Education and American Development of Film Industry Market on May 24th.
Mr. Mackler started by the origin and progression of American film education and detailed on the relations between film education and American film industry by combining his own experience and understanding of Hollywood. He also stressed the importance of narration on low-cost movies. Moreover, innovation accounts more even if no special effects and stunts could be adopted.
After the speech, Mr. Mackler exchanged with the audiences on the future trend of American film education and the effects of American film industry on the development of American films and those worldwide.
