SHNU: On the day of traditional Chinese Lantern Festival, SHNU& Japan Soka University collaborated to hold an exchange calligraphy show, involving almost a hundred handwriting works displayed in SHNU. Lu Jianfei, Vice SHNU President attended the opening ceremony. Lu revealed that most of the works shown are abstracted from the quotations of Tao Xingzhi, Chinese renowned education pioneer, and Daisaku Ikeda, avant-garde of Soka. Lu wished the audience could practice what the two educationists have advocated. The visiting group also shared the Tangyuan (glutinous dumplings with usually smashed black sesame) for China’s lantern festival (the 15th day of January of lunar calendar ). |
