SHNU: On April 17th, on occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Botswana Friendship, SHNU Botswana Confucius Institute kicked off a picture show as one of the series of the friendship week. The two-day show or exhibition drew the attention of almost a thousand audience, who feasted their eyes on nearly a hundred picture concerning the history and development of the amicable ties between the two countries. Involving introductions in the political, economic, cultural, physical, medical and educational fields, the show strengthened the reputation of SHNU Confucius Institute in local regions. The show was held in the CBD of River Walk of the capital of Botswana, accompanied with the mellifluous melody Jasmine Flower, a traditional Chinese folk song. Songs, dances, kongfu and musical instruments performances have also been staged. |
