SHNU: At invitation of Iranian Embassy in China, Wang Jianping, Professor of SHNU College of Philosophy, made way for Iran to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the Death of Ayatollah Khomeini, religious leader of Iran, and was received by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of Iran.
Wang was among one of the 250 representatives from 64 countries invited to the ceremony, and the only one from China. He visited National TV Station of Iran, and participated in the seminar sponsored by Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and toured around the late residence of Khomeini and his mausoleum.
During the visit, Wang was interviewed by Iran National TV Station, Channel 2, Iran International Radio, and Iran Youth Daily, as regards how to remark on the late religious leader of Iran.
Wang also consulted with director of the Department of International Affairs of University of Tehran on possibilities to start cooperation programs with SHNU.
