SHNU: President of Sugiyama Jogakuen University visited SHNU on September 10th, along with the dean of International Exchanges Center of the University. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei received the guests with those from ICCS, SHNU Library, and International Exchanges Division.
Lu reviewed how SHNU and Sugiyama have developed the exchange students. Actually, Sugiyama students would be sent in a short-term class to study in SHNU every summer. Starting from the last year, teacher exchanges have been done holding seminars in each other’s university. Lu hoped that there would be more frequent exchanges between the two universities concerned, and candidates could be selected via competition throughout the university.
The Sugiyama president concurred to Lu’s proposals and sent a bibliographic list of Sugiyama which included the items of books that would be endowed to SHNU. These gift books shall be stored in SHNU library on Fengxian Campus.
