SHNU: The other day, a Chinese Textbook Exhibition, organized by Fukuyama Confucius Institute, was held in the Central Library of Fukuyama.
The Exhibition will last from Oct.13 to November 8 and is estimated to attract over 10,000 people. With 500 odd books, the exhibition is divided into 4 parts including Chinese textbooks, Chinese literature, Chinese culture and audio-visual files. Well-known Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun and Yomiuri Shimbun reported the event.
Besides, a knowledge competition on Chinese Culture was held in Fukuyama University on October 23. Nearly 200 overseas Chinese students and Japanese students took part in the competition. The Chinese Dean of Confucius Institute presented medals to the first, second and third-prize winners.
