SHNU: Themed Build New Civilization of 21st Century and cosponsored by Japan Soka University and Zhongshan University, the 6th International Academic Symposium of Daisuku Ikeda was held in Zhongshan University, Guangzhou.
Over 150 experts and scholars from Japan, Taiwan, and China attended the seminar, including Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice President, Liu Xuguang, Special Researcher of Daisaku Ikeda Study Center, and SHNU Professor Xia Guangxing.
The titles of speeches delivered by SHNU professors are Future of City Civilization, and View of Civilization of Daisaku Ikeda from Symbiotic Moral Characters.
During the session, Lu Jianfei compared notes with president of Soka for exchanges and cooperation between the two universities.
Founded in 1971, Soka has started an exchange agreement with SHNU since October, 2009, and the Research Center of Daisaku Ikeda was founded at the same time.
