SHNU: Invited by the Confucius Institute of the University of Botswana (UB), Botswana’s Ambassador to China Sasara George visited CI and talked with all the teachers of the institute.
Prof. Pat, Botswanian dean of CI, extended welcome to Ambassador George and mentioned the newly opened 14th term Chinese class. Chinese dean introduced the teaching in CI and cultural activities of this year, especially the just-ended “Chinese Culture surrounding Botswana”.
Ambassador George congratulated CI on the achievements and spoke highly of their work. She said she was willing to offer every possible convenience for CI and recommend CI to many more sectors of Botswana government to attract more students to study in CI.
Mr. George also talked with Chinese teachers and answered questions about visa, scholarship and Sino-African joint researches, etc.
