With “My Dream” as its theme, the contest included three parts: Chinese speeches, Q&A of Chinese knowledge, and talent show of Chinese skills. 11 students from middle schools and universities of East Hiroshima took part in the contest. In the speech part, some students introduced their experience of travelling, studying and making friends in China; some talked about their hope of learning Chinese and working in China; In the talent show, contestants sang Chinese songs, drew Chinese paintings and played Chinese music, some even did Tai Chi. Prize-winners will attend next year’s “Chinese Bridge” Speech Contest in Kansai hosted by National Hanban on behalf of the CI of Fukuyama University. (Translated by Zhang Wenchao) |
