SHNU President Invited to visit Luxembourg and Germany

SHNU: SHNU President Zhang Minxuan was invited to pay a visit to Luxembourg and Germany the other day. A series of activities were launched for SHNU to expand channels of the international academic exchanges and collaborations.

     On February 25th, Zhang Minxuan was received by Claud Mesh, Minister of Education and Higher Education in Luxembourg.
      Claud Mesh highly appreciated the collaborative achievements on educational issues between SHNU and Luxembourg. At the same time, he looked forward to broader and mutual exchanges and cooperation between China and Luxembourg.  Zhang thanked Mesh for his warm reception and introduced the successful experience of PISA in Shanghai.

 He also invited Talaha, President of University of Luxembourg to attend the 60th anniversary of SHNU to be held this October. And Talaha happily accepted the invitation.

       From February 26th to March 2nd , Zhang Minxuan visited Germany to attend the 59th council of the Journal International Education Development held by UNESCO. He also spoke at the 9th executive council of UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), which devotes to furthering the policy and practice of lifelong learning and focuses on adult and continuing education.
