SHNU Signs Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Waikato, New Zealand

SHNU: A delegation from the University of Waikato (UW) in New Zealand paid a visit to SHNU at the invitation of SHNU President Zhang Minxuan on April 3. Professor Alister Jones, Waikato Managing Vice President and Ms. Mu Lan from Waikato Management School were warmly received by the university.

The two parties swapped ideas on cooperation of advantage disciplines of the two universities and reached an initial cooperation intent on education and environmental engineering. A memorandum of cooperation was signed after the meeting.

The University of Waikato is one of New Zealand's most modern and innovative universities, based in the beautiful river city of Hamilton, with a satellite campus in Tauranga. Waikato is home to more than 13,000 students including 2,200 international students from over 70 countries. With special strengths in pedagogy, management, computer, natural sciences, Waikato is honored as a Harvard in the Southern Hemisphere.
