SHNU: On June 10th, John Michael SENIOR came to SHNU with another colleague to discuss the possibilities to cooperate with SHNU to establish a Chinese learning Center. The meeting was attended by SHNU President Assistant Mao Xuncheng, and directors from SHNU Department of International Affairs and College of Education. It is decided that a Chinese Learning Center of the University of Hertfordshire would be established at SHNU College of Education. Some details were discussed, including the framework of the learning center, operation modes and various cooperative programs. The agreement will be signed this September and the center will officially be open at the end of this year. The cooperation between Hertfordshire and SHNU began in 1952. In recent years, there have been quite a few programs of the Hertrfordshire with SHNU, including overseas learning class of masters, education management staff training and teacher education ability training, etc. |
