SHNU: The photo exhibition about Confucius Institute (CI) that is themed “Flower of Friendship Blooming by the Mississippi River” was held on Xuhui Campus. SHNU Party Secretary Lu Jianfei and Vice President of the University of Missouri (UM) Mr. Williamson unveiled the exhibition.
Lu appreciated the important role of CI in Sino-US education and cultural communication, hoping that more teachers and students could widen their horizon through the platform of CI. Mr. Williamson said he was proud of the development of CI and lucky to have SHNU as the partner. He believed that the CI of UM would become a quite outstanding Confucius institute.
SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang met Mr. Williomson and accepted the nameplate given to SHNU by Mr. Williomson on behalf of UM to celebrate the 60th anniversary of SHNU.
