SHNU: On April 23rd, the 14th Chinese Language Bridge Cup Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students was held at the University of Botswana. It was sponsored by the headquarters of Confucius Institute of China and Chinese Embassy in Botswana and attended by government officials from embassies and directors and teachers from the Botswana Confucius Institute.
The contest falls into three parts, namely, Chinese language proficiency test, Chinese language speech, and talent shows. Centering on My Chinese Dream, the candidates talked about how they acquired Chinese culture and language, their stories of Confucius Institute and the Sino-Botswana Relations, etc.
Various Chinese folk songs were presented ensued by advanced language and arts show.
