SHNU: On May 21st, Prof. Rainer Klump, President of University of Luxembourg, visited SHNU with a professor from Multi-lingual Research Center of UL. This marks the first time for Klump to visit SHNU as the university president.
SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang welcomed the visitors and said that interactions between the two universities, initiated with the signing of cooperative agreement last October, had been in satisfying process. Professor Klump also hoped that more work would be promoted to strengthen ties between SHNU and UL in terms of academic research and the exchange of teachers and students.
Klump was also shown around the SHNU College of Humanities and Communication, and SHNU International College of Chinese Studies, as well as the key national research center SHNU Urban Culture Research Center.
