International Seminar of Environmental Humanities Held in SHNU

SHNU: Sponsored by SHNU Research Center of Comparative Literature and World Literature, the Environmental Humanities on the Ground was initiated in SHNU Conference Center. It was attended by Professor Scott Slovic, internationally reputed ecological criticist, and experts and professors from the research center.
 
Lasting three days, the conference involved the participation of scholars from the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
 
The conference probes such issues as ecological criticism, ecological ethics in Literature and Society, Ecological and Social Justice, Ecological aesthetics, Marxism and ecological criticism, climate humanities and climate changes, and ecological community and agriculture.
