SHNU: Recently, the SORSA (Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association) SHNU Branch hosted an interesting and bubbling fellowship activities at SHNU. With the theme China Meets Africa, Culture Goes First, the party was hosted by the SHNU Branch Director of SORSA Lu Jianfei, while Former Vice President of the University of Botswana, and Visiting Scholar of SHNU African Research Center Professor Youngman delivered a speech on Strengthening Sino-African Relations.
Both sides stressed the contributions of SHNU Confucius Institute to the promotion of Chinese culture and Sino-African friendship in Africa. After the lectures, various arts shows were presented, including Kongfu Fan, Taiji Fencing, poem recitals, traditional Chinese folk songs and other ethnic dances, etc.
