SHNU：Dr. John Hughes, President of Bangor University, visited SHNU with Thomas Angharad, Director of Bangor International Affairs Department and some others on October 21st. The visitors were received by SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang.
Zhu expressed warm welcome to the visitors and detailed on the broad cooperation between SHNU and universities in the UK, before he thanked Bangor University for providing scholarship for SHNU students learning there. He also hoped that more cooperation would be made in terms of the arts, performance and other majors.
After the talk, the two sides signed cooperative framework agreement, and promoted exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. Currently, altogether 21 students are learning at Bangor University and they won a total 47,500 British Pounds’ scholarship.
