SHNU：On February 19th, SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang received Denis Coderre, Mayor of Montreal and SHNU Honorary Professor. The two also unveiled the nameplate of La Maison de Montreal a Shanghai (Montreal Family in Shanghai). It was attended by SHNU Vice Party Secretary, General Consul of Canadian Consulate in Shanghai, Director of American Affairs Department of Shanghai Overseas Affairs Office, and Dean of Business College of L'Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).
The SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang, on behalf of all SHNU teachers and students, extended warm welcome to the arrival of Denis Coderre. He also hoped that both SHNU and UQAM could expand exchanges in such areas as French language, drama and films by means of La Maison de Montreal a Shanghai.
Over 60 alumni representatives and guests witnessed the ceremony. Last year, May Coderre visited SHNU and was conferred as SHNU Honorary Professor. He was titled Honorary President of SHNU-UQAM Montreal Family and was awarded this certificate at the ceremony.
