SHNU: Lan Yan, shot by SHNU Xiejin Film and TV Art College US San Francisco State University students and produced during the 2013 Summer International Documentary Workshop period, won New Student Filmmaker Award at the 2014 San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival. The documentary Lan Yan was show at Sundance Kabuki Theater and New People Cinema respectively on March 17th and 18th. It is noted that the film would be shown for a second time at Jakarta Indonesia in April and would possibly also show up at Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. |
